Terms and Conditions & General Terms For Try Dives

1. By purchasing a Try Dive Voucher you acknowledge that the voucher is valid for the following Try Dive session(s):

a.  on 22 February 2025 at Osprey Leisure Centre

b. any further dates in 2025.

2. The Try Dive Voucher cannot be redeemed for cash of any value.

3. On the day of the Try Dive, you agree that you will arrive at the Osprey Leisure Centre by no later than [12:15] to allow sufficient time to register ahead of the Try Dive.

4. If the Diver is late in registering on the day of the Try Dive, we may, at our absolute discretion, not permit the Diver to take part in the Try Dive with .

5. You will bring the following documentation for us to inspect as part of the Try Dive registration:

a. [ID] (age restriction over 18’s only).

Health & Safety

6. Your safety and welfare are of the utmost importance to Jurassic Divers and BSAC. By purchasing a Try Drive Voucher, the Diver therefore agrees to the following:

a. that the Diver is over 18 years of age;

b. it is the Diver’s responsibility to ensure that they are healthy and have a suitable level of fitness to take part in the Try Dive;

c. the Diver will be required to read and complete a medical form at registration;

d. if the Diver is concerned about their level of fitness or if the Diver is taking any medication and/or has any medical conditions that may impact their fitness to dive, it is their responsibility to consult with us ahead of the Try Dive and if necessary see a doctor before booking the Try Dive; and

e. if the [Try Dive Leader] deems that the Diver does not have an adequate level of fitness to take part in the Try Dive, the Try Dive Leader may decide that the Diver cannot take part in the Try Dive. The [Try Dive Leader’s] decision will be final and the Diver will only be entitled to a refund at the absolute discretion of Jurassic Divers.

7. During the Try Dive:

a. the Diver will at all times listen and comply with the instructions provided by the [Try Dive Leader] and other Jurassic Diver instructors assisting with the Try Dive; and

b. if the Diver fails to follow all reasonable instructions provided by the Try Dive Leader, the Try Dive Leader may cut the Try Dive short for the Diver for safety reasons and no refund will be provided.

Equipment

8. We offer dive equipment in a range of sizes for use by the Divers on the day. If the Diver thinks they are of a non-standard size it is worth discussing this with us before you book, so that we can make sure we have suitable equipment.

9. If you do not feel comfortable using the scuba gear and are unable to take part in the Try Dive, we cannot offer a refund on the day.
